Gravel Driveways Dublin
A cost-effective, permeable option that looks natural and suits SUDS requirements. We build gravel driveways that last.

Professional Gravel Driveway Installation
Gravel driveways are permeable, often planning-friendly and one of the most cost-effective ways to create a durable, attractive driveway. Done right — with a proper sub-base, edging and the right grade of stone — they stay in place, drain well and last for years.
At Leaf 2 Leaf we excavate, install a compacted sub-base and edging, then lay the gravel to the correct depth. We choose stone type and size to suit your look and use, and can advise on SUDS and planning where relevant.
Why Choose Leaf 2 Leaf For Gravel Driveways?
Proper Base & Edging
We don't just dump gravel — we build a sub-base and edging so the gravel stays in place and doesn't migrate.
Right Stone for the Job
We choose size and type for driveways (e.g. 10–20mm) so you get a surface that's stable and looks good.

Gravel Driveway FAQ
Yes — with a proper compacted sub-base and edging (kerbs or strips), the gravel stays contained. We use the right depth and stone size so it doesn't migrate onto paths or grass.
We install a weed membrane under the gravel to suppress weeds. Some may still appear at the surface over time — they're easy to pull or treat.
Light topping up every few years can help keep the surface even. We'll leave a small amount of spare gravel if possible and advise on where to source more.
Walking and driving on gravel does make some noise. If you prefer a quieter, similar look, resin-bound surfacing is an alternative we also offer.
We use 10mm or 20mm aggregate suitable for driveways — golden gravel, slate chip, pea gravel and other options. We'll show you samples at the consultation.
